How can I pay for my Counseling appointment? What are your payment options?
- You can pay in person with cash or a check written to Awake & Arise.
- You can pay through Awake and Arise website using Paypal or credit card. Click here to pay.
- Any payment other than the normal rate for 60 or 90 minute sessions can be paid through ‘Other amount’ on our website.
Can I bring someone with me to my counseling session?
Yes, you always have the option to bring someone with you to a counseling session. It is helpful to let us know in advance if you will be bringing someone with you to a session.
What happens if I need to reschedule my appointment?
If you need to reschedule your counseling appointment, please do so 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. It is easy to reschedule using the Calendy system….
What is your policy on missed appointments?
- If you need to cancel, you must do so 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment or we will consider this as a “no show” and full payment will be required.
- If you have a personal emergency that prevents you from making it to your appointment, we make exceptions on an individual basis, as long as you contact us via email at support@awakeandarise.com, or phone at 360-354-2931.

What are your business hours?
Currently Awake & Arise business hours are:
Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday’s & Thursdays 1:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Any changes will be made available on the Awake & Arise booking pages through Calendly.
What qualifications and experience do your counselors have?
Janet Robinson has over 30 years of experience as an Inner-healing Prayer Ministry Counselor. Her educational background is long and varied and includes completion of a B.A in Human Services and Education from WWU; graduate courses from The School of Social Work at WSU; Advanced Certification (including Internship & Employment) through Elijah House Ministries; Ordination as a Minster of the Gospel through School of Eagles; and 100s of hours of course work in related fields of interest including Prophetic Ministry, Theophostic Training, Trauma Recovery, and Body Work with Rosen Method. Janet has developed and taught many courses on Transformation, Grief Recovery, and founded a Counseling Training School through which she continues to raise up others to do the work of Spirit-led Inner-Healing Counseling.
Do you offer addiction counseling?
We do not do addiction counseling but we welcome clients who are transitioning out of rehabilitation and are committed to addressing the underlying issues contributing to their addiction.
Do you provide marriage counseling?
Yes. This journey typically begins with either one spouse reaching out for solo sessions, which can then evolve into couples counseling or starting with couples counseling that evolves into counseling each individual separately, for a time, throughout the process.
Do you accept Insurance?
We cannot guarantee acceptance of insurance payments for Awake & Arise counseling services. It is the responsibility of the individual seeking counseling to verify coverage with their insurance provider.
